"He must become more important while I become less important." John 3:30 Perhaps it seems that the urgency is lacking for repentance in our lives, because we see no immediate threat of extinction. It is worth remembering that with the coming of Christ, a new and final age was begun and we should not procrastinate. The only way to prepare for the Saviour's coming is through thorough self-examination and repentance. This complete break with sin will open the way for growth and fruit, which will eventually encompass the whole of creation in a kingdom of peace, safety and fulfillment. -extracted from church bulletin.
