orientation is over. =( boos. wednesday: pearls talk for year ones. but we ogls were having cheer practice. =p the spongebob cheer very creative! hahas. then after that was the first dance practice. for summer sunshine. the year ones are very clever lehhs, they learn very fast, but also forget very fast. hahas. played wild games; had dodgeball, cross the river, combat training, eugene's station, the acting one, and subject combi registration. and there was cca bazaar! and me, poor me, being cca-less, was helping out other ccas give out their stuff... biz club, choir and red cross... was going round asking for donations for the earthquake and tidal wave victims... every cent counts... really... =) thursday: woke up at 5.40am again, becoming a usualty haha. had trad dance for the first time... zelda are elegant people. =D after lunch we had mild station games. funnn. especially the memory game... we had clocked the best time 1 min 7 sec, but og 1 managed to record 8 sec! *claps* also had the arranging game (the squeeze on a few benches one), deception, the bodypart one (can't remember the name) then there was hunk and babe preparation. the pageant was very entertaining... hahas. and finally! i got to speak to ms nirmala! luckily i caught her in time. she was about to go home... missed almost the whole ogl debrief that day, but phew, at least i've spoken to her. went for dinner with irene and og 25 at amk s11 =) nice bunch of people... then after dinner the five of us went around searching for things for our beloved ogs. hahas. friday: last day of orientation! began as usual, waking up early, at 5.40am, then waiting for 105 to arrive but taking 73 in the end... reached the hall before 6.45am, briefing, then off to collect our og flags and wait for the year ones to come... after the usual morning skit, zelda and osiris had mass games. whees. first game was crazy soccer. then was lord of the tails. haha. and then traditional balloon game. and quidditch. and take what is yours. zelda seekers found two snitches, well, ping pong balls. =D saw my classmates running round the track. =p after that was a long break... and photo taking time! hahas. and yizhen also took out her cam... met jeannie, winnie and liping at the canteen during the break... after lunch was mass dance. i can seriously dance the traditional dance and summer sunshine now. hahas. recapped everything, then sent ogls and year ones up onto the stage. then ogls went onto the stage and dance both twice through... and up there at the upper loft, saw jeannie, winnie and liping there. hahas. after mass dance was faction games. destroyer! they didn't get to play the balloon-and-straw-poking game though... after that was debrief and dinner. was looking for a table in the canteen and then siying came to say that they've found a table. we went there and guess what, there were two boxes of pizza there. og 5 is full of surprises ehhs? really surprised us! =) we had an ultra super duper long table... yam senged also. from that moment, everyone seemed to be in a pretty much great mood =) went back to the hall for the last installment of the skit... and then disco nite began. woohoos. everyone was high and that was gooood. saw everyone from kuemi* having fun. yeahh =) but it ended at 8.30 much to the cries of protest of most of the year ones... *shrugs* no choice. then went around taking pictures =) went to the new block to check for litter... cheered on the way back and suddenly the alarm went off =X oops. met jerry and eugene at the bus stop and of cos, we took a pic together. hahas. =p love og 5. love my co ogls. love ogl-ing. after reaching home, was hungry and tired. sis got beef bun from macs for me! =) after shower, went to watch practical magic... but fell asleep halfway... so i still don't know what happened in the end. haha. saturday: woke up at 11am. and began operation upload pics. took a century to finish everything cos of some disturbances and interruptions... 110 orientation pictures. and also uploaded the pays* pictures. yahoo photos limit is pathetic... only 30mb. finally finished it all at 9.55pm. like wasted my whole day just doing that. hahas. after dinner, i saw an ad on channelnewsasia. and it touched me so that it made me tear. the title of the ad (or whatever you call that intermission) was a helping hand. it said that though east timor was one of the poorest countries, it still came up with money to provide aid for the asian tsunami victims. $170 000 if i'm not wrong. it's heartening to know that there is still kind hearts around. even the poorest can give, what much more can we, the more fortunate, give? it really touched me. decided on an og lunch on this coming tues. all of you better be there yar. compulsory. hees. then talked to siaw wen a bit online too. and we're also going to have lunch together, next tues. lego lunch. =) finally saw weising in school the other day while she was talking to winnie... 2004 had been great with ltc. but 2005 will be better. =D went to bed at 2.30am. yawns~ hahas. sunday: yawns. woke up at eight plus to go for 0930 morning mass... had one uncle toby bar for breakfast on the way out... oh ya. father john lee is leaving singapore on a mission trip soon after chinese new year. will miss him =( after mass had brunch with my family and then went to j8 with my sis to get her friend a card and me, socks. guess what, met a schoolmate there! lin xiang. hahas. anyways, went home and started on some homework... almost done with chem tut 20 until the last question. it's like so long winded lahhs. =X then maths i'm also stuck at one of the questions in front... =X i did everything, from refilling my organiser, to writing notes... but not completing hol homework. hahas. then went to print my timetable from emb, but for some reason, the doc that i saved cannot be opened. haiii. newsflash! yilin just told me that there's gp hol homework. but our tutor forgot to tell us. -_-" still must present somemore. what the s***. what's with missing one week of school? it was all worth it. =)
