went for 9.30am mass today. it is finally after the chinese new year. and that is about when he'll be leaving for mission work, that was what he said at the beginning of the year. and now. the time is finally here. father john will be leaving on 15th feb, and then we will have a new parish priest, from sfx i think. he sang a song he composed, and it was very very touching. tears were flowing down my eyes every second. =X don't know why but to me it was so very touching. and sad. to think that he could still crack a joke that our bills for the renovation were settled, and that he was not leaving us in debt. he had been our parish priest for three years and apparently had the nickname of the 'building priest' as the shalomers sang (yep, they also composed their own song in tribute to father). may god bless you every single day, father john. `leaving on a jet plane, don't know when i'll be back again...` *matthew 4:1-11.
