reached school at about 7.30am today haas. yr two sci fac was supposed to watch the concert from lt4, but turned out that the turnout of yr ones and yr two arts fac was not that much. there were only eight of us from 10a. =X so we got to go to the hall instead. sit in front somemore. haha. concert was superb. got harmonica orchestra performance wor! hahas. yilin peiying huijia!!! got off at ten plus and headed straight for cityhall mrt. aj ended super early lahhs, leaving sim wan very free and bored while waiting for meee. hahas. waited for olivia, ruifen for lunchie! whoa, even deciding lunch quite troublesome. haha. in the end they settled for kfc. burger king's got a new item! grilled salmon/chicken salad!!!!!! haa, ok anyway, went back to citylink mall to look for a box for natasha's present at about 1pm and that was when jo arrived. that girl just had xcountry this morning at east coast. hope our outing didn't tire you out. =) got a really cute forever friends box from hallmark... at first we thought of getting the pink forever friends bear. but we decided to go to raffles' city before buying it. but after going to the cards'n'such and the precious thots there, we walked back to the hallmark store to get the bear. then got a bench outside nooch and began writing our notes for natasha, and in between taking pictures. haha. decided to put cotton wool inside (for fluffy look, haa), then place the bear, and our little slips of paper in a test-tube (courtesy of nyjc bio lab =p), together with pictures taken today (thanks to sim wan's professional camera) into the box and tie it up with the blue ribbon given. =D sounds nice rite? haha. then... then... then... we suddenly sang ruifen a birthday song right smack in the middle of citylink mall! hahahaha. =D we did it! jo, oli, sw, we did it! we managed to surprise ruifen! hahas. she'd thought that we will only be celebrating her birthday on 19feb. but little did she expect... haha. i'm still ultra sorry for crushing your cake, making it look like some failed baking session. hahas. really sorry! don't trust me with such delicate things kae, for example hiding a piece of cake for more than two hours. haa. at first a little confused, our dear rf, cos we'd put her presents into natasha's box, her expression was funnie lahhs. =p then someone said take whatever is yours... so she put her hand in the box, and took out... *drum roll* a niceee billabong wallet and a pair of earrings from bits and pieces! inside the wallet, we had each written notes for dear ruifen and placed it in the plastic card holder attached in the wallet. creative or not? haha. and bored (at that particular time) and silly me cut out paper and wrote '$ $ $, no money for you.' haha. very boh liao one lahhs. then put them into the notes compartment of the wallet. very ecstatic, glad, jubilant, happy (hahas, familiar rite, rf? just like what i wrote in my note in your wallet =p) that ruifen likes our (rather advance) gift! otherwise our efforts (esp sw's and mine's =p) will be wasted. once again, i'm sorry for crushing, smashing, bashing, mashing your cheesecake. =( forgive me ok? *puts on an innocent look* unfortunately, we had to go back cos of the new year eve's festivities and all... so had to part with my dears... =( but we'll be meeting up in march again yeas? =))))) `a friend is to treasure, to pamper and to cherish because nothing makes life sweeter than a friend who never fails to remember.` (from an sms i received from dern) jo, olivia, ruifen and sim wan: love you all very muchly! ruifen, as to how we got your birthday gift ready, let it remain as a mystery k? heex. * shucks. i still owe siaw wen money. =X happy chinese new year's eve. =) take a listen to this: almost by bowling for soup ++ ...And I almost had you But I guess that doesn't cut it Almost had you And I didn't even know it You kept me guessing and now I guess that I spent my time missing you And I almost had you I almost wish you would've loved me too... ++ i think i'm imagining things. do you see me too?
