sis was checking out sound of music shows after lunch. she's having her last paper today and she still has time to check show times?! haha. anw, most of the shows are booked, some fully booked even. most of the seats left are the super pricey one. there are tickets at $102+, which my sis is considering, but if we have daddy's 'help', the price could be discounted to $92 per ticket. =D (still kinda pricey though if you ask me, tried dismissing the idea of watching it, but sis is a little bent on watching it. and i shall just accompany her. =p heex.) but have to wait till tonight to ask him. and maybe even prepare to get a lecture from him on spending money on such things. =X ijband went for syf on thurs, and got a silver. now heys, that wasn't too bad rites? i know most of you were expecting a gold, but perhaps the time isn't ripe yet. 2 more years. maybe this will make the current juniors wake up and work harder towards the gold goal. success after failure is much sweeter than success without failure. read about the genting international competition that ijband will be participating in. will the sec4s be going? wells, it doesn't really matter, since they will be stepping down in no time. really up to the juniors now. after this year, i guess my connections in band would be 'severed' in a way, haa, since the juniors that i once knew would have all graduated. so all the best ijband for the genting int'l competition! =) * no more boeing boeing. feeling slightly irresponsible though. =( but that means that my friday afternoons are free. and that means that i can finally go out with hippo dear. =) some '14' students from admiralty sec showed up yest for cip. though, i saw no 14 people. less than ten even??!! the five of us - michelle, peiying, yilin, jasmin and i - we were stuck with inserting the brochures and postcards again. but this time, throughout our stay there. did a bit of sales before the show. we had 20 programme booklets each, each $2, to sell. some thought it would be provided i guess. haha. but i guess selling the programme for a small fee was a good initiative, cos sometimes, some patrons would just throw it away after the show, or even leave it behind at the seats... when michelle and i went around the circle seats after the show, no programme booklets were found. haa. it was totally -full house-. with the exception of some half blocked view seats. no point to watch rites? stayed in the small stuffy (and dusty) room doing factory-style work. haas. open, take, take, take, close. during interval, we were allowed to take a break. walked quite a distance to macs' and i distinctly remembered that it was located next to the penny bar. haha. michelle: our 3 days 3 nights service to fullerton hotel just for indulging in one hearty meal there, buying one cup of espresso and bringing papercups, ordering a cup of plain water at six... haha. super funnie. did 2.4 and a few other items during pe yest. haa, my sbj still cannot make it. =X finishing the other items on tues i guess. hopefully can clear all... was staying back for a little while with peiying for extra chem, but mrs huang was apparently having lunch when she realised we were looking for her. so we decided to go back instead. couldn't stay for the interact club meeting. cos if i had gone, i'd be super tired before cip. and you don't see people sleeping during cip rites? =X went home to rest, but not long after, had to go back to school for makeup chem lecture. in the end only 7 people turned up for the makeup. covered quite little thoughs, but at least the intro to nmr is much clearer. wait. how could i have almost forgotten?! CRAPP!!! guess what? there is a pasar malam outside school!!! yippees. i am going to finally get my cup corn on monday! =) went straight to victoria theatre after that. phews. we were all there before 6.30 haa. not like the previous week, where we received a snide remark about being late. hmpff. got pw results too. am sad actually, if you couldn't detect it. really, i mean it. i just felt that we all deserved the same recognition, and therefore the same grade. i just felt it wasn't right. we had put in a tremendous amount of effort (ah yes, so did everyone else) but even more so cos we had been working hard at it from the beginning right till the very end. we had worked hard at every stage and met datelines faithfully cos we had a common goal to work towards to. somehow. it just doesn't feel right. and i don't know how you guys are feeling either. i don't dare to ask. i can tell that yilin wasn't herself during cip. =X and i have no clue what i can do. what can i do? =( today. hair cut. maybe.
