CAUTION: if you know marilyn and want a good laugh, read on. if not, you might not be able to picture the scenes, so perhaps kindly ignore. haa. and to mari, have a good laugh at yourself. ok ok, at us. =D fri: darn darn darn. missed clearing pft cos of my lousy sbj. =X went to look for ms yap at 12, when she said she had another class, but she didn't appear. bleahhs. waited for half an hour before giving up and resigning to my fate. haas. have to retake in may i guess. at least still got my classmates who will be doing it then too =) meantime, must practise darn sbj. must jump like boot boot. hees. while waiting for my darling hippo, did some reading in the library. when she finally came to the lib, we were comtemplating whether to stay in school to study or well, go out. haas. year ones are occupying the tables in the library approximately 99% of peak times. went to orchard, intending to catch a movie. on the bus, we were brainstorming. haha. sorry mari, i couldn't think of anything sensible and gave you weird and silly ideas. =D was laughing so hard at one point of time too. haas. you really crack me up! walked all the way to cine from far east, but in the end, didn't catch any show and walked back to taka cos the dear girl wanted to go to macs. got ourselves a nice cosy table inside, but moved to another table near the counter when it was available. me: why do you take so many postcards for? her: to write lahh. me: write to who? her: just keep lor. -_-" oh myyy. friday has got to be the best day of my week! cos mari brightened up my day! =D we talked and talked. laughed and laughed. your imitations of certain people were hilarious. but dear girl, you are the hilarious one. the number one h***o in my heart (the only one in fact =p)! still the same, you haven't changed one bit. still with those disabilities that dern, prisc and i had coined for you. window shopped at taka, mari tried to take a picture of a precious moments figurine, but was stopped by staff. haa, still managed to get shot though. =p mari was 'insulting' some mobile phone chains. hahas. what is this s**t? came across a paperclip holder-like jar with an inbuilt magnet on the underside of the cover... i removed the clips already attached and tried it out. try and try, but no clips were attracted to the magnet. guess what mari did?! she overturned the whole jar and ta daa - clips were dangling from the cover. -_- i tried that too, but the indignant girl commented that hers was like jungle. -_- headed to kino to browse, was a little impulsive when i said that i wanted to get a copy of sophie's world (of course i didn't get it in the end)... and something weird happened while we were there. a japanese 'customer' who was just next to her began talking to her, saying that the shelves of books in front of us were junk, that they were wasting paper. he strongly recommended ernest hemmingway's the old man and the sea, and being a writer, took out his own novel. mari looked shocked and surprised. hahas. her expression was like this --> :O thankfully her friends came over and sort of got us away from him. phews. mari was even afraid of going to the magazine section for fear that he'd be back again. haa. left kino soon after, and began heading home, in between stopping at kalm's, isetan and city chain. scene in city chain, wisma she: hey i like this one. me: which one? she: this one. me: the orange one? she: nooo, the one i'm looking at. (at this point, she stares hard into the display) me: parallax error lahh. -so i move to the middle of the display where she was standing and imitated how she stared into it- me: the third one from the right? she: no. me: the third one from the left? she: yaaa. me: brown, red then orange right? she: no it's brown! it's green, red, brown! me: it's orange. she: maybe the lighting makes it look orange. me: uhhh... super embarrassing. haha. the girl then went to top up her ezlink card at one of those auto machines. initially, there wasn't anybody queuing up for the machines, but i was hurrying her, saying that there was a long queue behind. she took ages to take out her card and money (and why was it in an envelope? haha). before long, there were quite a few people queuing behind. ok ok, you had to be there to laugh at it. oops. =p got on the suprisingly not-so-crowded train. was just mentioning how usually i'll be at squashed at the door, without much room, but during that trip, i could actually wave my arms. and to this, that girl laughed so loudly. -_- after getting off the train, i said something really silly... 'are there a lot of people living in hougang?' haha. it's like asking if there are a lot of people in toa payoh. ok nevermind me. it was funny then. took 153 with her, plenty of laughs included. i haven't laughed so much (and so heartily) in just one afternoon. haha. thanks mariii =) really de-stressing you know? hahas. and we will get down to studying together. someday. though we can't help each other much. haha. and it's funny how when i reach school early, you end up close to being late. and conversely, when you get to school early, i end up close to being late. so we seldom get to talk in school. funny ehhs? so try to take the earlier bus! =p and! how amazingly uncanny it is that you are similar to my mum, and i'm supposedly similar to yours, when crossing the road? =))))) you shouldn't have seen me cry monday, tuesday, wednesday and thursday were as usual. there was q&a for council nominees during ct period. but what's the use of it when not many are answering? and please don't give me more than six votes cos whatever more, i'll just be wasting votes, just like last year, simply forced to pick a few more just to complete the voting procedure. on wedn, during econs tut break, did a couple of designs for the heart-to-heart project with fruitty and para. went to awwa after school. guess what? the hcjc girl is back again... we were transferred to another class, to practise writing and games after that, before helping out at hydro. hmms. actually i kinda prefer this class. =D on tues, stayed back to do some items, but in the end, no teacher, so no items. but i still stayed back to practise sbj. thanks michelle for your patience. =) headed to far east subway after that for lunch with my sis. did some shopping after that. whees. haven't shopped for such a looong time. fell asleep on the ride home, don't know why, but i kept awaking. don't know why but i just felt funny sitting next to the fella next to me. like as if he was going to stab me. goshh. scary right? don't know why i felt that way too. *question marks* oh yaa! during the week, i also dreamt about sim wan!!! i don't usually remember dreams... can't recall the exact day, but i dreamt that we were staying in the same house (maybe hostel??? hahas) and that she just got home while i was at my desk. something like that. hmms. shores never meet but share the same ocean moon and stars could not be one but are on one sky friends meet not often but never stop being friends never. take a listen to this: wake me up when september ends by green day summer has come and passed the innocent can never last wake me up when september ends have a good weekend. =)
