had turkey breast sub for lunch. =D taped last night's screening of waterboys and watched it while having lunch. the show's a riot. very funny. and the girl's so pretty. haha.
there exists inconsiderate people who leave their mobile phones or any devices for that matter, on normal mode instead of silent in applicable places like in cinemas, during plays, the library... it's no problem if they don't receive an sms or a call. but when they do, they appear like it's totally alright. especially in places like the library! aacks. worse still, some have the key tones on! so when they type their sms replies, you can hear the keys going toot-toot..toot-toot-toot. aacks. and! they aren't seven, eight year olds, mind you. they are full grown adults, decked in office wear! so perhaps it's time to educate the old too? i wasn't overly irritated, but there were some people nearby who were studying, and i bet they felt agitated. not only the beeps of new sms signals from nokia phones, even the full blown polyphonic ring tone of someone yelled out from one end of the place to the other. =X
grr.
btw, anyone heard of patti smith?

Who kicked a hole in the sky
So the heavens will cry over me
Who stole the soul from the sun
And the world come undone at the seams
Let there be love
Let there be love
I hope the weather is calm
as you sail up your heavenly stream
suspended clear in the sky are
the words that we sing in our dreams
Let there be love
Come on baby blue
Shake up your tired eyes
The world is waiting for you
May all your dreaming fill the empty sky
But if it makes you happy
Keep on clapping
Just remember I'll be by your side
And if you don't let go
It's gonna pass you by
Who kicked a hole in the sky
So the heavens will cry over me
Who stole the soul from the sun
And the world come undone at the seams
Let there be love
