joanna.olivia.ruifen.simwan. =) i don't know where to start. ok. met up with ruifen dear at slightly after 11am at toa payoh mrt station. that girl was sitting facing the side heading towards marina bay. and me, of all people, should have been more vigilant, but when the train facing our direction came, we got on. we passed by novena... newton... then orchard. all this while, ruifen was giving me an account of quidam which she caught a few days back. it only struck me when the train reached orchard and i was thinking, "why on earth are we heading to marina bay when we are supposed to be at woodlands" when we had arranged to meet jo and sw there at 12. got off immediately and boarded the train in the right direction. perhaps it was for the better, haa, because ruifen and i managed to catch sim wan at the yio chu kang station! =D so ruifen, something good came out of our silly mistake. hehh. jo was already there waiting for us. =) went for lunch first, then walked around, till we landed in front of a video store while waiting for olivia. initial d was playing, and some korean show that sim wan, and jo (even sim wan's and ruifen's mothers) are crazy about. the final episode was playing, and to prevent jo from learning about the ending, ruifen and i helped to 'hold her down'. =D hmm. when olivia came, we did a bit of hide and seek haas. oops. sorry. my fault. hee. walked over to jo's place... then when we reached, the sun was blazing hot, sat in her room and did some catching up (and the scoop on olivia's mum, haa). played badminton after that; we tried playing at the windy court, under the void deck (which got the shuttlecock slammed against the low ceiling many many times), before settling at a deserted carpark. tried playing 3 vs 2, the 2 being the "tall ones" - ruifen and joanna. after a while, we split, me playing with jo while the other 3 took turns to play. those 3 then took a break, sitting at the end of the carpark, telling jokes. haa. after jo and i joined them, we began talking about the things that mattered. then rf spotted someone, erm, looking down from the 3rd floor. (and olivia wanted to take a look at that person. haa) sat at the carpark for quite some time, and decided on the place for dinner too. went back up to jo's place, changed, and once again, sat around in her room, talking. there was an endless flow of things to talk about - reminiscing those years at ij, talking about the new school, about our teachers; mrs kunna, mr koh, ms shanti... and then it got 'late'. (because some people, well all 4 of them, wanted to catch the 7pm drama serial. hahas) had dinner at pastamania at causeway point. jo's dad treated us to dessert, thanks uncle =) and then we had to part. there were so many more things that we shared, and while doing so, i didn't have to think about the upcoming As, and just enjoy the company of four people that i care about. =) some random things a floating device equipped with an oxygen tank. a wedding dinner. sands of time. caesar.com. 33 grandchildren. palmistry (haa). life line. half-eaten tom yam ban mian. cheese and chili flakes. white wine (hic!). bacon aglio. espirit employee. (uhh. =p) eeyore. vip 'rich kid'. rebonded hair. aj fmath paper. yj math s. robinson's skirt. thank you jo for being such a wonderful host! today will be fondly etched in my heart. =) thank you dears. see you all after the As. *take care and God bless.
