what a week. i'm talking about meeting up to celebrate ruifen's birthday on saturday (i've finished watching fullhouse btw), going to the ntu talks with sim wan and ruifen on sunday, my last day at the polyclinic on monday, about the champions league 1st leg knockout games during midweek, about a new job and about the news of the dreaded release of results. anyways, made stars (the same ones i did for vday last year) during the weekend for my colleagues at the polyclinic and brought a box of chocolates too. stayed back till 6 that day, and was one of the last few to leave the place. there were definitely happy times there. but. sometimes the cons outweigh the pros. so sometimes you just have to move on. not to mention i was having an eye infection and a cough that day. wednesday morning: the first day of the first leg of the champions league knockout stage. haa, my mum and sis didn't think i would be able to wake up for the match. but i did. =D liverpool is still having problems scoring, and the problem is, they played so well until the closing minutes when benfica scored a goal. so, yea, benfica won, but wait till they come to anfield. thursday morning: i woke up at an ungodly time of 3.20am once again. this time to catch the much-anticipated chelsea-barcelona match. the match was fantastic!!! perhaps the barca players had more successful passes than chelsea (in my opinion of course) because of their bright luminousy jerseys, making it easier for one to find another to pass the ball too, unlike chelsea's blue, because seriously, it is harder to find a blue shirt. anyway barcelona had problems finding the back of the net in the first half, with a couple of wasted shots, BUT. they still won. =D and no comments about the red card issue. and today, the day of the release of the A level results were announced. so wednesday's the day huh. let's all hope next week would be a great week. that the people at my new workplace are friendly and helpful, like my thursday-friday-saturday people. have a good weekend everyone. =))) take a listen to these ; give myself to you by train, after all this time by simon webbe
